  Science Lab was very interesting today, we watched a video about renewable resources that provided plenty of information. There was one specific part of the video that caught my attention and changed the way I look at cars! I learned that, with the help of professionals and a little bit of money, mechanics can make it possible for cars to run on any vegetable oil! This is something that could possibly change the world if people agreed to make changes to their cars! I did not know that this was possible, and I am amazed at how far technology has come to make this possible.

What I Learned In Computer Lab

 Today, in Computer Lab, I learned about the man who created Khan Academy. Khan started out in a closet at the back of his bedroom, making videos to tutor his cousins. As he made more videos, more people began to watch them and learn from his lessons, and soon he became very popular. Khan eventually became so popular, that the children of Bill Gates were learning from him! Bill Gates himself called Khan and invited him over for lunch and sent his personal jet to pick Khan up. The two talked over lunch, and Bill offered Khan a few million dollars to hire people and begin a business. Khan is now a very successful man and runs his own business that started in a tiny closet in his room, I am amazed at how far Khan got with his career.
